About CNFX

CNFX is an independent, open directory of Chinese manufacturing capability. It organizes products, industrial components, manufacturing industries, and factory profiles into one structured, searchable reference — so that buyers, engineers, and researchers can understand what is made in China, how it is made, and where production capability exists, before they ever contact a supplier.

The directory currently covers 117 manufacturing industries, more than 7,800+ products, and 7,000+ industrial components, each connected through an industry taxonomy modeled on international classification systems. Every product profile carries technical definitions, working principles, common materials, reference standards, and supply-chain context.

What CNFX is not

CNFX is not a marketplace, a sourcing agent, or a lead-selling platform. We do not take commissions, we do not rank suppliers for payment, and a listing is never an endorsement, certification, or transaction guarantee. The directory exists to make early-stage manufacturing research faster and more honest — the decisions and the due diligence remain yours.

How the directory is built

• Editorial classification. Products and components are organized by a technical taxonomy maintained by the CNFX editorial process, with AI-assisted drafting reviewed against publication rules for identity, depth, and evidence before a page is allowed into search indexes.
• Named public sources. Where profiles reference standards (GB, ISO, DIN, ANSI) or regulatory frameworks, we name them so readers can verify the originals.
• Source-labeled manufacturer records. Manufacturer profiles state whether information comes from a public source, a manufacturer submission, or CNFX technical classification. Records that lack sufficient evidence stay out of search indexing until reviewed.
• Quality gate. Pages that do not meet content-depth and evidence thresholds are excluded from sitemaps and marked noindex — we would rather publish fewer, stronger pages.
