COMPANY CLAIMED

Shanghai MTC Industrial Co.,LTD

Custom roll-forming machine manufacturer serving metal-profile producers, with lines for roofing, purlins, decking, solar strut channels, guardrails and cable trays. MTC also publishes insulated-panel lines and auxiliary coil-handling equipment. Its engineering offer centers on matching tooling, punching and cut-off to the buyer's profile and coil material.

Company & strengths

What the published manufacturing scope means for a buyer.

Shanghai MTC Industrial Co., Ltd. lists bases in Shanghai's Jinshan District and Changzhou's Wujin District. Its company page describes design, roller machining, structural-component processing, assembly and testing, including continuous pre-shipment trials using customer material. The important distinction is that MTC supplies production machinery: its machine catalogue is not evidence that it sells the finished roof panels, cable trays or structural profiles made on those lines. For an equipment buyer, the useful comparison is the complete configured process, including coil handling, profile changeover, hole-making and the cut length required at an agreed output rate. [1] [2]

Tooling and line configuration considered together

MTC describes roll-tooling design and machining alongside machine assembly. Its range includes fixed profiles, adjustable sizes, double-layer machines and selected interchangeable configurations. Buyers can therefore frame the enquiry around the actual set of profiles and changeover requirements, rather than assume one line can make the entire catalogue. [1]

A documented example of process sequencing

The September 2026 solar-strut project describes two separate lines for 41 × 21 and 41 × 41 mm channels, using tracking post-punching and post-cutting. It shows why punch location and cut-off sequence belong in the specification alongside the forming rolls. [10]

Trials with the intended coil material

The company offers continuous trials using customer-supplied raw material before shipment. This is a practical basis for agreeing profile measurements, hole position, cut length and surface condition on the same material and operating sequence intended for production. [1]

02

Product & service range

The published machine families have different material, tooling and downstream-process requirements. Maximum values from different families should not be combined into one machine specification.

Roof, wall and floor-deck lines

Roof/wall options include corrugated, trapezoidal, standing-seam and double-layer arrangements. Floor-deck equipment is a separate heavier-profile family with optional embossing and cut-off configurations. Specify the approved profile drawing and material grade; a named roofing system does not by itself establish licensing or structural approval. [3]

Purlin and structural-channel machines

The range includes C, Z, Sigma and Omega profiles, with manual or automatic size adjustment for selected designs and a C/Z changeover option. Confirm which dimensions change automatically, which tooling must be changed and how punching/cutting accommodates the full requested size range. [4]

Solar strut and support-profile lines

C/U slotted channels, G-type sections, strut channels and drainage profiles appear in the range. Different geometries may need dedicated tooling or separate machines; the published two-line project is not proof that one standard machine produces every section. [6]

Guardrail, cable-tray and storage-profile equipment

MTC lists W-beam/thrie-beam guardrail lines, perforated and solid cable-tray lines, tray-cover equipment and rack upright/beam machines. Hole patterns, connection geometry and any welding or secondary assembly should be defined as part of the scope. Manufacturing a section does not establish the finished system's crash, load or electrical performance. [7]

Insulated-panel production lines

The EPS/rockwool line combines metal-skin forming, core feeding, adhesive lamination and tracking sawing. The decorative PU-wall-panel line instead includes a foaming stage and optional surface embossing. These are different process packages; define the core material, facing, panel joint and required downstream operations separately. [11]

Coil handling and auxiliary equipment

Hydraulic decoilers, coil-car options and other supporting equipment can be quoted for a new or existing line. Coil mass, inside/outside diameter, width and synchronization with the line are the relevant interfaces, not capacity in tonnes alone. [13]

03

Manufacturing workflow

Published processes, organized by production stage.

  1. Establish the finished profile and coil envelope

Provide dimensioned profile drawings, tolerances, steel grade/yield strength, thickness range, coating and coil dimensions. State the profile variants and hole patterns that must run on the same equipment. [1]

  2. Select tooling, drive and punching sequence

Decide fixed, adjustable or interchangeable tooling and define punching before or after forming. MTC's solar project selected chain drive and tracking post-punch/cut operations; other projects require their own configuration assessment. [10]

  3. Build and assemble the configured line

The company describes CNC machining, lathe work, wire cutting, laser blanking, grinding/milling and assembly. Identify the included decoiler, feeder, forming stands, cut-off, controls and exit equipment in the quotation. [1]

  4. Run a joined-up factory acceptance trial

Agree trial coil, sustained run conditions, profile and hole measurements, length accuracy and surface checks. Include changeover and restart checks where those functions affect the production programme. [1]

  5. Define installation and support scope

MTC publishes on-site or remote installation support and operator training. Specify travel, utilities, foundations, commissioning materials, manuals and warranty coverage in the order rather than assuming every service is included. [14]

04

Quality & documentation

A line should be accepted against the buyer's material, drawings and measured output, not the catalogue's highest speed or a general precision claim.

Material-specific profile measurements

Agree the critical section dimensions, straightness, twist and surface requirements and how samples will be taken during the trial. The published capability to trial customer material is particularly useful where coating or material strength affects forming behaviour. [1]

Punch and cut accuracy at the agreed duty

The 2026 strut project lists ±0.5 mm punching accuracy and ±1 mm cutting tolerance for those two machines. Those are project specifications, not a verified universal tolerance across MTC's range. Establish the dimensions, speed and test method applicable to the actual order. [10]

Safety and conformity documentation

The FAQ makes a general CE claim, but the reviewed pages do not supply original model-specific conformity documents. Request the applicable documentation, guarding/interlock description and electrical drawings for the ordered line and destination. Machine documentation is separate from certification of products made on it. [14]

05

Published project: two solar-strut lines

MTC's 14 September 2026 report gives a specific configuration and a pre-shipment milestone, rather than a claim about long-term customer results.

Separate lines for two channel sizes

One line is specified for 41 × 21 mm and the other for 41 × 41 mm strut. The report gives a 1.5–2.5 mm material-thickness range and 0–12 m/min line-speed range for this project, with chain transmission on both machines. [10]

Tracking operations after forming

The sequence is coil feeding, forming, tracking punching, tracking cut-off and run-out. This illustrates a configuration in which the downstream punch and cutter move with the material rather than simply adding a stationary punch to a forming line. [10]

Reported milestone: trials complete

The supplier reports completed machine trials and readiness for shipment. No customer commissioning report or measured production outcome was available in this reviewed case; the useful evidence is the stated configuration and trial milestone. [10]

Is this a fit for your project?

CNFX procurement assessment.

MTC is relevant to metal-profile producers needing a drawing-led forming line rather than a catalogue-only equipment purchase. Its range and machining/assembly descriptions support discussion of tooling, profile changes and integrated punching/cutting. A well-scoped enquiry should prioritize material properties, finished-section acceptance and sustained production needs, then separately price coil handling, automation and site services.
