Technical details and manufacturing context for Strapping Machine

Definition
Strapping machines secure cartons, bundles, and pallet loads with PP, PET, or steel strap. Semi-automatic tabletop models require an operator to feed strap around the package; automatic arch machines convey the package through a strap track and complete the cycle unattended at up to about 60 straps per minute; pallet strapping systems apply vertical or horizontal straps with optional compression platens. Strap tension, joint efficiency, and track reliability determine load security in food, logistics, printing, and building-material lines.
Working Principle
The machine feeds strap around an arch track or lance, retracts it against the package to a set tension, then joins the overlapping ends by heated-blade or friction weld for plastic strap. A knife cuts the strap and the sealed loop holds package compression while the track re-feeds for the next cycle.
Common Materials
welded steel frame, hardened strap track components, wear-resistant polymer strap guides, sealing head with heated blade or friction unit, PLC controls and sensors
